MG University Invited application for admission to Post Graduate Programmes conducted in the affiliated Arts & Science Colleges / Constituent Colleges for the academic year 2016-17 except PG programmes under the faculty of Fine Arts and those UG programmes admission to which is based on entrance examinations and Programmes conducted in Colleges which have been granted autonomy in the year 2016-2017. The PG Programmes includes MA, MCom, MSc and other PG Courses.
MGU PG Admission 2016 Centralized Allotment process (CAP) Online Application
MG University PG admission 2016 Online Application Registration will be started on 17-08-2016. The candidates can apply for PGCAP 2016 online registration through MG University web admission site www.cap.mgu.ac.in.
The admission /Allotment of seats under merit quota is governed by a Centralized Allotment Proces (PGCAP). MG University PGCAP Selection/ Allotment of a candidate to any college will be based on the rank of the candidate and the availability of seats.

How to Apply for MG University PG Admission
MGU PGCAP Online Application Registration
The candidates can submit single application form for PG admission to various
affiliated colleges in MG University.
Application fee for all candidates except SC/ST : Rs 700/- and for SC/ST candidates : Rs 350/-
The PG application can be submitted online through www.cap.mgu.ac.in from 17-8-2016.
Instructions for PG Admission Online Registration
1. Click on the “Account creation” link provided in the www.cap.mgu.ac.in web page. Follow the online instructions and fill in the personal details in the relevant fields provided. The password created by the candidate should not be revealed to others who may misuse it. This may result in tampering of the options and the University will not be responsible for any such eventuality.
2. After the successful creation of account, you will be provided a six digit application number. Keep this application number for all future online and offline operations.
3. Pay the application fee by clicking on the “PAY NOW” button which will redirect the applicant to the Online Payment Gateway. Applicant can use Debit Card/ Credit Card or Internet Banking facility for making online payment.
4. After remitting the fee, the applicant will be redirected back to the application page
5. Fill in the application form with personal details, academic eligibility and the options correctly. The applicant can give upto forty options.
6. After satisfying himself/herself that the details entered are correct, the applicants shall press the Final Submission Button
7. Take the print out of the confirmation page which will have to be retained by the candidate for future reference
